Refund Policy

Overview

At Clown Repellent (“we”, “us”, “our”), we sell physical merchandise, digital products, subscriptions, and services. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds, replacements, or remedies are available.

By making a purchase, you agree to this policy.

Physical Merchandise (Apparel & Goods)

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including:

  • Incorrect size selection

  • Colour preference

  • Ordering the wrong item

  • Deciding you no longer want the product

Please check sizing guides carefully before purchasing.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if your item:

  • Is faulty or defective

  • Is significantly different from the description

  • Arrives damaged

  • Is the wrong item

In these cases, we will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit, depending on the issue.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition

  • Original packaging must be included (where applicable)

  • Proof of purchase is required

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or incorrect

  • We are not responsible for items lost in return shipping

Digital Products & Subscriptions

All digital products and subscriptions are delivered immediately upon purchase.

No Refunds For:

  • Change of mind

  • Failure to use the product or subscription

  • Accidental purchases

  • Cancellation after billing has occurred

Once access is granted, the product is considered delivered.

Subscription Cancellations

  • Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time

  • Cancellation stops future billing only

  • Access remains until the end of the current billing period

  • No partial refunds are issued

Services

For any services provided:

  • Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced

  • If services have not yet begun, refunds may be considered at our discretion

  • Missed sessions or lack of participation do not qualify for refunds

Australian Consumer Law

This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If a product or service has a major failure, you may be entitled to:

  • A refund

  • A replacement

  • Another appropriate remedy

For minor issues, we may choose to repair or replace the item instead.

Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in:

  • Suspension or termination of your account

  • Loss of access to digital products and subscriptions

  • We encourage contacting us first so issues can be resolved quickly.
